Today's Frugals:

Stayed home most of the day till Cat Welfare Assoc. board meeting tonight from 7 to 9pm.  At our meeting tonight one of the topics was Estate Planning and we were encouraged to talk to our family and friends about what to do with your pets in the event of your death.  Tell them who will care for the pets, if you leave a bequest for a pet shelter such as ours with the request that they take your pet(s) make sure your family knows.  I've seen or heard of 2 incidents in the past cpl. years where the family pet was put to sleep because the family member didn't want them and didn't know arrangements had been made.   Very very sad!

Todays dinner cooked from home:  Tuna Casserole with mushrooms and peas mixed in.  One of our favorite meals and one that is a quick and easy for those nights when I'm on the go.  We did manage to squeeze in a streaming movie before I left for my meeting.

I crocheted on the afghan today.. this is one for us using up left over yarns.  Also watched another Lassie movie.. just love those shows and they always feature praying to God for help with Lassie, now days a movie like that would never be produced or would be banned if it was.  Sad times we are living in when God is shunned from schools, public places and movies.
