Today is a stay at home day.. no gas used, no money spent.

Dinner will be Tuna Casserole.  Dessert will be a baked cake bought on sale after Christmas.  I think it's Christmas Confetti.  We don't care what color the cake is as long as it takes good.  Icing also after Christmas special got it for 25 cents.  So including the eggs, oil, etc. I'd estimate the total cost of the cake is around $1.50.

Tip:  Always look after a holiday for cake mixes and frostings that were made for the holidays.  A sweet treat doesn't have to be a standard color.  I've bought orange colored frosting after Halloween, Red after Christmas, Green after Christmas and then again after St. Patricks Day.  Smaller stores like Dollar General tend to have much cheaper after holiday prices.
