I went to Giant Eagle this morning to get some pectin, tomorrow I'll be making Candy Apple Jelly and needed more pectin. I also needed a couple staple items like milk. I had finally got motivated this morning to make a cake before I left the house. Sure glad I did as I passed all those tempting sweets throughout the store.. just kept reminding myself.. "You have cake waiting at home with your choice of Cream Cheese Frosting or Chocolate Frosting". So frugal was passing up all those little extra impulse buys like easter candy, doughnuts and of course the dreaded candy bars at the checkout counter.
