Energy Savings
Today I will be hanging clothes outside to dry instead of using the electric dryer in the house.
Our truck blower stopped working on dh's way home from work yesterday, frugal is dh went online to youtube, saw that there is a extra fuse box that he didn't know was on the truck. It showed how to fix it but with his physical challenges he isn't able to get to it very easily so we will be asking our friend to fix it for us over the next day or two. Our friend is a long distance truck driver and on the road right now. So this will save us from paying a auto repair shop to fix it. Dh also went online and shopped around for the best price on the fuse.. got it half the cost of the other big chains at Napa, ordered it online and I will pick it up first thing this morning when they open. I also have errands to run today so will combine in a direct route so as not to waste gas, time and energy.
I ordered my incense sticks yesterday that I sell in my yard sales.. found out my supplier is going to stop carrying them so I started doing some research. I was only able to find suppliers from India and El Cheapo looking packaging. I contacted my Soaping Group for help and one of our members was able to direct me to a American supplier who actually is cheaper than the one I have now, which was pretty darn hard to beat. I can make my own but it's expensive to buy all the supplies I need to get started and it's messy work.

Got my sticks this morning.. I ordered some new ones including Coconut which is one of my favorite scents. Wow! does it smell good. Also one called Black Magic which is Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang mixed together, glad I took a chance on it, it replaces their Sandalwood I use to buy but they no longer sell. And they sent me some free fragrance oil samples.. I liked all but my favorite is Arabian Sandalwood Yum! Can't wait to make this in a candle!
